Types of Programs/Services Available: The incubator seeks to work with start-up, home-based, and fledgling businesses. To be admitted business must: be willing to share financial information on a regular basis, have a business plan or develop a plan within three months of entering the incubator, and be willing to work with incubator staff, other business owners, and incubator partners to grow their businesses. Businesses can sign an initial lease for 12-months that is renewable up to a total of three years tenancy.
Space: The Business Center includes 13 offices and 2 retail spaces ranging in size from 120 to 500 square feet. Price range is $15-$22 per square foot as well as a conference room, access to computers, fax, copier.
Funding: SBA-backed loans, Good Work, Orange County Loan Fund, Carrboro Revolving Loan Fund
