STREAK

STREAK is a part of the Capital Connection Programs and is designed to match emerging growth companies with angel investors and venture capitalists. The STREAK series mentors and assists entrepreneurs at various stages of growth - pre-seed to early rounds of funding.

Successful Capital Connection applicants are invited each month to make their investor pitch to a STREAK panel. To be considered for STREAK and the Capital Connection Programs submit a Capital Connection Application.

STREAK Program Goals

• Provide mentoring, critiquing and exposure for new high-growth companies seeking equity funding.
• Invest in new companies - from Angel to Venture capital round.
• Create public awareness of new, exciting opportunities in NC and across the Southeast.

How STREAK works

• A committee of investors and entrepreneurs reviews applications and makes recommendations to select presenting companies.
• A panel is chosen to work with each selected business, typically including 3-6 members. The panel may include:
  • Venture Capitalists
  • Angel Investors
  • IP Experts / IP Attorney
  • Financial Experts / CFO / CPA
  • Industry Expert
  • Serial Entrepreneur
• Entrepreneur delivers a 10-minute investment pitch, and panelists give feedback, critique, and identify issues that might be red flags for investors, helping the the entrepreneur develop a solid investor presentation.

How to Apply:

Submit the following to be considered:

• One-page executive summary
• Business plan
• Investor pitch / presentation (upon request)
