Merrill Mason is a partner in the Raleigh office of Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP. Mason has actively served entrepreneurs for over 20 years. He has extensive experience representing technology and life science companies with an emphasis on emerging and entrepreneurial enterprises. As a member of CED’s executive committee and participant on numerous volunteer steering committees, he gives countless hours to mentoring and advising early-stage entrepreneurs. Passionate about working with developing entrepreneurs and law students, he has also taught as an adjunct instructor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and UNC School of Law.
