Precision BioSciences

Precision BioSciences is a Duke University spin-out that provides the only method to target and alter nearly any DNA sequence in a genome. Twenty years of advances in gene science have led to vast stores of genomic sequence data. Precision BioSciences’ Gene Target Technology provides scientists with an alternative to trial-and-error approaches to making DNA alterations and allows for customizable, specific DNA alterations to these sequences of genetic data. Precision BioSciences was incorporated in January of 2006 and closed its first round of financing the following month.
