Donovan Moxey, Ph.D. DescriptionDonovan Moxey has been actively involved in the Triangle’s entrepreneurial community since the founding of his first company LIPSinc in 1998. LIPSinc developed software for creating interactive animated talking characters. Moxey’s most recent start-up, Interactive Multimedia Solutions, Inc., is built around LIPSinc’s software and focuses on automated voice-to-animation products and solutions for the multimedia market. Reasons for winning the awardDonovan Moxey has served as a CED Board Member for the past three years, and currently chairs its Community Outreach and Development Committee. He also served as an instructor for CED’s FastTrac Tech class during summer 2003. In addition, Moxey has been a panelist and guest speaker for a number of entrepreneurial outreach and educational events. He also serves on the Board of the Triangle Community Foundation’s Entrepreneurs Partnership. Quote"It is an honor to have been selected for this award.
