Council for Entrepreneurial Development Seeks Nominations for Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards
Nomination Deadline Set for April 21, 2008
Research Triangle Park, N.C., March 19, 2008 – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) announced today it is accepting nominations for its 22nd Annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards, scheduled for June 5 from 5:30-10 p.m. at the American Tobacco Historic District in Durham, N.C. CED’s annual awards honor outstanding individuals and companies for their entrepreneurial achievements during the past year. The deadline to submit nominations is April 21, 2008.
Over the past 22 years, CED has recognized outstanding individuals and companies for their entrepreneurial achievements and impact on the economic sector. Past CED award winners include some of the region’s most recognizable names — Quintiles, Red Hat, Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Motricity, Targacept, Square 1 Bank, ChannelAdvisor and other rising stars.
CED is seeking nominations in the following categories by April 21, 2008:
- Entrepreneurial Excellence
- Deal of the Year – Private
- Deal of the Year – Public
- Growth Company of the Year
- Spin-out of the Year
- Technology of the Year
- Community Impact
- Outstanding Service to Entrepreneurs
- Social/Non-Profit Organization of the Year
