Human Capital Headlines CED's Next Engage Program

Peopleclick Executives Lead Featured Panel at June 29 Program; Other Concurrent Panels Will Explore Human Capital Best Practices and Trends


May 26, 2005, Research Triangle Park, NC – The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) today announced featured speakers and panel topics for Engage: Human Capital, set for June 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Durham Marriot Hotel Civic Center. Executives from Peopleclick – a Raleigh-based staffing management software company that has built a strong reputation in human capital – will lead a featured panel discussion at CED’s half-day program.

Stephen A. Sasser , president and CEO of Peopleclick, will join his colleague, Peopleclick’s Chief People Officer David Russo, in leading a featured panel discussion on human capital trends and tools. Sasser has over 25 years of experience leading successful and profitable software and services organizations. His career encompasses management positions with four global software companies, where he successfully transitioned operations and culture from a US-centric view to a global perspective. Russo is an expert in human resources with more than 35 years of experience in implementing and managing human resources programs and practices. Russo, formerly the CEO of Empliant and vice president of human resources at SAS, also has expertise in employee engagement and in leveraging human capital for competitive advantage.

In addition to this featured plenary panel session, Engage: Human Capital will also offer concurrent panel sessions that delve into subjects applicable to a wide range of entrepreneurial companies. C onfirmed session topics at Engage: Human Capital include the following:
