Dana Mead with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers confirmed to speak at Medtech 2009

Dana Mead, a partner with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, has just been confirmed to speak at CED's Medtech 2009 conference happening May 14 at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.

- For the past 25 years, Mead's career has focused on identifying new medical technologies, developing new markets and therapies, and building world-class management teams.

- Mead has worked with physician thought leaders around the world representing 10 different medical specialties.

- Prior to joining KPCB, Mead was President of Guidant Vascular Intervention, a fully integrated billion dollar division with over 4500 employees.
