Atlanta-based Firethorn (www.firethornmobile.com), a provider of mobile banking and payments applications, has been acquired by San Diego-based Qualcomm, a developer of wireless technologies. Under the agreement, Qualcomm will pay about $210 million in cash for Firethorn.
Firethorn is a CED member.
