RTP-based LVL7 Systems (www.lvl7.com), a developer of networking software, was acquired for $62 million in cash by Broadcom. Broadcom is based in California and produces semiconductors for wired and wireless communications.
The combination will bring together LVL7’s software expertise with Broadcom networking products for small and medium-sized businesses.
