FairPoint Acquires Germantown Independent Telephone Company

Charlotte-based FairPoint Communications, Inc. (http://www.fairpoint.com/index2.php) has completed its $10.2 million merger with the Ohio-based Germantown Independent Telephone Company (GITC). GITC is the third company owned and operated by FairPoint in Ohio.
