Spectracef is a cephalosporin oral antibiotic used to treat adults and adolescents with certain bacterial infections of the lungs, throat and skin. The drug is indicated to treat Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP), Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis (ABECB), Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis and Uncomplicated Skin and Skin-Structure Infections (USSSI). Currently, the U.S. allergy market exceeds $3.3 billion in annual sales as more than 50 million Americans suffer from allergy symptoms.
