CED Founding President and Raleigh attorney Fred Hutchison has been chosen by Business North Carolina Magazine as one of the best business lawyers in the state. He was selected following an annual balloting with every licensed North Carolina attorney.
Hutchinson, a co-founder of the Raleigh firm Hutchinson & Mason PLLC (www.hutchlaw.com) that specializes in venture capital, securities, and mergers and acquisitions, was one of 45 lawyers chosen in the general business category. More than 16,8000 attorneys participated in the Business North Carolina report, producing a list of what the business magazine calls the state's Legal Elite. Approximately 1,600 attorneys received votes and 442 were chosen for the Legal Elite in 12 specialty categories.
