Under the terms of the agreement, Quokka issued approximately 15 million shares of common stock in exchange for all of the capital ownership of the privately held Total Sports. Founded in 1997, Total Sports is an online sports media company that owns and operates the Total Sports Network featuring live coverage of sporting events.
