The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announces plans to establish an area for e-commerce and information technology within the School. The new academic area, which will be called Information Technology and E-Commerce (ITEC), will serve as a maypole for a school-wide, faculty interest group related to electronic commerce. The area will also be the primary home of IT-related faculty and will hopefully increase the visibility of school-wide efforts in the e-business arena.
