Raleigh-based Innovative Devices LLC has received three patents on its inhalation devices, which are designed to eliminate the difficulty asthma patients have with dosing and inhalation. According to the company, research shows that 50 percent to 70 percent of asthma patients don't receive correct doses due to current inhaler technology.
