Arbovax, Inc., recently in the news for closing a $1.43 million Series A round, announced that it has augmented its operating budget with a $150,000 loan from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. Arbovax is developing technology designed to help produce vaccines against insect-borne viruses.
Malcolm Thomas, president and CEO of Arbovax, Inc. has been a CED member since 2005. He participated in the Angel Retreat at CED's 25th Anniversary Venture Conference. The North Carolina Biotechnology Center is a long time CED member and partner. The RTP biotechnology center hosts CED's Biotech Forums, and company representatives regularly participate in CED program development.
