Forbes magazine has released its latest ranking on the top 25 "Best U.S. Cities for Jobs."
The Raleigh-Cary metro area, ranked number 7 in last year's report, came in as the top-ranked city this year.
As noted in Forbes' report, the Raleigh area has multiple resources to build on. In particular, the presence of three major universities -- Duke, UNC and NC State -- helps the region attract skilled workers. That, combined with relatively low cost of living, high quality of life, gives the region an edge.
