EntrepreneurshipWeek USA, an initiative of the Kauffman Foundation and other partners, kicked off on Saturday (Feb. 24) and will run through March 3.
Activities are scheduled in all 50 states and nearly every major city in the United States. In North Carolina, a statewide Entrepreneurship Policy Summit will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the North Raleigh Hilton.
The summit on Feb. 27 is already nearing capacity with 600+ pre-registered attendees. CED is among the numerous supporting partners of this second annual conference.
Entrepreneurs, government officials, university and non-profit leaders, educators and economic development officials, representing more than 1,000 organizations and universities from across the country, have organized and will host activities during the week-long celebration.
Entrepreneurship has truly gone from sub-culture to mainstream, especially when you see this kind of national support behind the sector. It's a very encouraging sign for all entrepreneurs!
