CED is challenging the region’s entrepreneurial community to contribute 500,000 pounds of food to the 20th Annual Heart of Carolina Food Drive.
The 2006 food drive has been extended through Friday, December 22.
This year, a special Entrepreneurs’ Challenge has been created by leaders in the entrepreneurial community. Intersouth Partners, Square 1 Bank, Inspire Pharmaceuticals and Motricity have combined their resources to issue a $30,000 challenge to entrepreneurs and those who work with them.
Dozens of other companies in CED's network have stepped up to contribute to this worthy cause.
Last year, almost 200 organizations partnered with the Food Bank to provide 500,000 pounds of food to those members of our community at serious risk of hunger, almost a third of whom are children.
