CED Annual Fund

Thank you to all who continue to support CED and have throughout the years. We would not be approaching our 30th year serving entrepreneurs and this community without you!

We continue to see an increased need for services and resources for entrepreneurs. To bridge the gap between membership/program revenue and the cost to operate CED and fund growing initiatives, we count on you for generous individual giving. We are 85% to our goal of raising $75,000 for the CED Annual Fund.  We hope you will consider making a gift by June 30, 2014.

An individual gift to the CED Annual Fund is your opportunity to help the region’s most promising companies grow and succeed. Your contributions support:

  • Recruiting national speakers, such as crowdfunding expert Freeman White, who spoke to 60+ tech startups at the annual Raising the Dough Series.

  • Organizing visits from out-of-town investors and corporates on behalf of entrepreneurs.
In 2014, we’ve welcomed three out-of-region funds to the Triangle, setting up strategic meetings with 10 local startups and growth-stage companies.

  • Providing travel opportunities to promote our region and make strategic out-of-market connections for our entrepreneurs.
Last month, CED’s Dhruv Patel attended the annual Angel Capital Association Summit (D.C.) to build relationship with 600+ angel investors.  He also flew to the west coast to meet with Google, Genentech and nine VCs on behalf of the Triangle entrepreneurial community
  • Continuing TriangulateNC.com – the digital doorway to Triangle’s entrepreneurial activity.
