Rick Anderson
Managing Director, PTV Sciences
Rick Anderson was formerly company group chairman, Johnson & Johnson, and worldwide franchise chairman, Cordis Corporation. Anderson also served as president of Cordis Corporation and was previously worldwide franchise vice president of Centocor, Inc., which merged with Johnson & Johnson in 1999. Anderson was a key architect behind the launch of the world’s first drug-eluting stent the CYPHER® Sirolimus-eluting Coronary Stent. This breakthrough innovation for the treatment of restenosis (reblockage) has been used to treat more than three million patients worldwide. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Anderson served in senior leadership positions with other international healthcare and medical device companies. At Racal HealthCare, Inc., he was vice president, global marketing and responsible for respiratory devices and before that, he spent a decade with Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals and Allergan Pharmaceuticals in various U.S. and global sales, sales management, and marketing management roles. Anderson is also a consultant member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and has worked within the industry to shape global education of interventional specialties. Anderson holds a B.B.A. in marketing from Mississippi State University and has completed graduate level course work at Indiana University and Duke University. He served five years in the United States Army where he obtained the rank of captain.

William A. Hawkins
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Medtronic, Inc.
Bill Hawkins assumed the role of chief executive officer of Medtronic, Inc. in August, 2007 and became chairman of the board in August 2008. Hawkins was named president and chief operating officer in May 2004 after joining Medtronic as senior vice president and president of Medtronic's Vascular business in January 2002. Hawkins joined Medtronic from Novoste Corp., where he had been president and chief executive officer since 1998. Earlier positions included corporate vice president and president of the Sherwood Davis and Geck organization of American Home Products; president of the Ethicon Endo-Surgery organization of Johnson & Johnson; president, devices for vascular intervention and president U.S. operations, for Guidant Corp.; and several increasingly responsible executive positions culminating in the presidency of the IVAC organization for Eli Lilly & Co. He began his medical technology career with Carolina Medical Electronics in 1977. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and biomedical engineering from Duke University in 1976 where he also conducted medical research in pathology. He received a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, in 1982. Hawkins is a member of the Board of Visitors of the Engineering School of Duke University and the Guthrie Theatre Board.

Gary D. Henley
President and Chief Executive Officer, Wright Medical Group, Inc.
Gary Henley has been a director and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wright Medical Group, Inc. since April 4, 2006. He has 26 years of experience in the orthopaedic medical device industry. Henley was an executive with Orthofix International N.V., a diversified orthopaedic products company, from 1997 to March 2006, most recently serving as the President of its Americas Division. He was the President of the Endoscopy Video Division of Smith & Nephew Richards, Inc., from 1987 until 1996. Henley was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cecorp, Inc., a maker of surgical visualization devices for the arthroscopic and endoscopic markets, from 1982 to 1987.

Dan Lemaitre
Former President and Chief Executive Officer, CoreValve Inc.
Dan Lemaitre most recently served as the President and CEO of CoreValve which was acquired by Medtronic in April 2009. CoreValve’s unique self-expanding percutaneous aortic valve has been implanted in more than 3,500 patients since obtaining CE Mark in 2007. At the time of acquisition end-market revenue was annualizing at a $100MM run rate. Mr. Lemaitre led negotiations that led to the sale of CoreValve in a deal worth $700MM in cash, with an additional $150MM payable upon the achievement of milestones.
Prior to joining CoreValve, Mr. Lemaitre was a Senior Vice President at Medtronic where he led strategic planning and corporate development. Dan was also a member of Medtronic’s executive and operating committees. While at Medtronic, he helped revamp the strategic planning process. In addition, more than 50 acquisitions, divestitures and license deals were completed during his tenure, including the $4.2 billion acquisition of Kyphon.
Prior to joining Medtronic, Dan spent 28 years in the medical device field as an investment analyst. He began his career as a buy-side analyst in 1978 working at National City Bank in Cleveland and later, Standish Ayer & Wood in Boston.
His sell-side career included 18 years with SG Cowen, where he was a managing director and led the health care research team. In 1999, Dan moved his team to Merrill Lynch where he headed-up the medical technology effort for six years. During his Wall Street tenure, Dan was named to Institutional Investor’s All American research team for 19 consecutive years, capturing first place honors a record 8 times as the top ranked medical supply and technology analyst in the country.
Dan grew up in Woodbury Connecticut. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Bethany College in West Virginia (1976) and an MBA from Bowling Green State University in Ohio (1978). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan served on the Board of Emerson Hospital for 10 years. He is currently on the board of Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts. Dan is married to Sarah Tueting. He has two daughters from a previous marriage, Jennifer (28) and Rebecca (26).

Dana Mead joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers as a partner in May 2005 to work in the life sciences practice. For the past 25 years, Mead's career has focused on identifying new medical technologies, developing new markets and therapies, and building world-class management teams. He has worked with physician thought leaders around the world representing 10 different medical specialties. At KPCB, Mead leverages experience gained from his venture-funded, start-up management roles and board participation to support entrepreneurs and innovators dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of millions suffering from life-limiting disease. Prior to joining KPCB, Mead was president of Guidant Vascular Intervention, a fully integrated billion dollar division with over 4500 employees. Since joining Guidant in 1992, he held positions of increasing responsibility including vice president and general manager, cardiac & vascular Surgery; vice president and general manager, stents, Vascular Intervention Group; president, Japan and A/P Operations based in Tokyo; and vice president, corporate relations and policy with responsibility for investor relations, corporate communications, corporate marketing and public policy initiatives. Prior to joining Guidant, Mead worked in various sales and marketing roles at Allergan, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson. A native of Connecticut, Mead received his Bachelor's degree from Lafayette College and holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Southern California. Mead serves on the boards of AesThera, Inc., Corventis, Navigenics, Inc., OtisMed Corporation, Sinexus, Inc., Synvascular, Invuity, Inc., Spinal Modulation, Inspire Medical Systems, Voyage Medical, the California Healthcare Institute (CHI), the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

Gregg W. Stone, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Professor of Medicine, Columbia University; Director of Cardiovascular Research and Education of the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapies, Columbia University Medical Center and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation
Gregg W. Stone, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. is professor of medicine at the Columbia University, director of Cardiovascular Research and Education of the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapies at Columbia University Medical Center, and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York, NY. Dr. Stone has served as the national or international principal investigator for more than 40 national and international multicenter randomized trials, has authored more than 1000 book chapters, manuscripts and abstracts published in the peer-reviewed literature, and has delivered thousands of invited lectures around the world. Dr. Stone's areas of expertise include interventional therapies of acute coronary syndromes and myocardial infarction; drug eluting stents; adjunct pharmacology; percutaneous heart valves, new device angioplasty including distal embolic protection, thrombectomy, vascular brachytherapy and stent grafts; intravascular ultrasound imaging; saphenous vein graft therapies; chronic total occlusions; vulnerable plaque; contrast nephropathy; clinical trial design; and regulatory issues. Along with Dr. Martin B. Leon, Dr. Stone is the director of Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), the world's largest symposium devoted to interventional cardiology and vascular medicine, directs the annual National Interventional Cardiology Fellow's Course, and co-directs several other annual courses, including The Drug-Eluting Stent Revolution: A Critical Appraisal, The Chronic Total Occlusion Summit, and Transcatheter Valve Therapies. Dr. Stone's medical practice is devoted to interventional cardiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Stone previously held similar positions at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Previously he was the director of interventional cardiology at the Cardiovascular Institute at El Camino Hospital and Stanford University Medical Center in California. Dr. Stone completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center, in Baltimore, MD,and his internship and residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He completed his general cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centerin Los Angeles, CA, under Dr. Jeremy Swan, and subsequently a dedicated fellowship inadvanced coronary angioplasty with Dr. Geoffrey Hartzler in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Stone is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Internal Medicine.
