Why join?
CED is an entrepreneurial support organization. If you benefit from our thriving entrepreneurial community, you should join CED to support the work that it does to help sustain this community.
As a member, how do I get involved?
As a member you can schedule a personal consultation to let us know what resources you need, submit your news to let us spread the word about your success, write a guest column to showcase your expertise, or attend an event to expand your network.

How many members do you have?
CED has over 5,500 members. 70% are entrepreneurial, 30% are service partners.
Do I have to be a member to attend one of your programs?
No, non-members can attend programs but pay a non-member rate. However, CED members receive substantial discounts per event and a host of other member benefits.
Is my membership tax deductible?
CED is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization that is supported by membership dues, program revenues and contributions from individuals, companies and foundations in order to fulfill its educational mission. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

I am a CED member, how do I get connected?
- Network with CED’s community of entrepreneurs, investors and service partners by attending an upcoming event.
- CED can facilitate mentoring relationships by leveraging the region’s entrepreneurial community. Schedule your personal consultation now. (By appointment only)
- Take advantage of member-only events and discounts on nationally recognized programs and conferences.
- Share your expertise by speaking at a CED program or writing a guest column for a CED publication.
- CED publishes news about its members and their events; to submit your news and events for consideration email news@cednc.org.
- Give back to the entrepreneurial community through volunteer opportunities.
