CED's Global Business Development Program
About CED's Global Business Development Program
CED, in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, International Trade Division, TiE Carolinas, World Trade Association and the North Carolina China Business Association, is hosting a program on international business development for North Carolina companies seeking to expand operations globally.
This program addresses the opportunities and challenges of going global. Topics include finding international partners and identifying the appropriate market. Speakers will discuss their experiences in pursuing business in emerging markets like Brazil, India, China, Canada and Europe and their go-to-market strategy. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from state and federal organizations as well as experts in IP protection and setting up operations overseas; these organizations have representatives in overseas offices that can assist companies in finding distributors and partners in new markets.
