CED just held our Annual Meeting with a crowd of 350 entrepreneurs, investors, and service partners. It was a GREAT night, and we are so excited to see so many local folks excited about entrepreneurship and CED.

At the meeting, CED president Joan Siefert Rose released an exciting new report:

 “Starting Something: The State of the Entrepreneurial Economy of North Carolina, 1992-2011”

This first-time retrospective of startups, founders, and funders – who they are and what they have accomplished – paints a fascinating picture of the economic contributions of emerging growth companies in the state over the past 20 years.
