Suzanne BurnsSuzanne moved to Raleigh with Eaton Corporation in August 2004 following the company’s acquisition of Powerware Corporation.  She is responsible for a $300 million global operation, comprised of uninterruptible power supplies and power distribution products for back-up power applications for the IT, telephony and healthcare markets.  She also has operational responsibility for seven manufacturing facilities in the U.S., China, Mexico and Finland.  Suzanne holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.

David GardnerDavid is a serial entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience in building technology companies.  He has founded or co-founded eight successful companies including ProviderLink, Peopleclick, OSC, Report2Web, DBBasics, Microclimate Technologies, BuildLinks, and OnSphere Corporation. Experienced in taking IT products and Internet-service model companies to market, David serves on several boards and is a popular conference speaker.  He has published a number of white papers and articles on technical, marketing and managerial topics.  Besides several years of computer science and business related graduate studies at NCSU, David also holds degrees in Music, Philosophy and Divinity. David’s ventures have raised over $55 million in venture capital. He has demonstrated a record for consistency across multiple industries and markets without a single startup failure or loss of an investor's capital. Most recently, he was the founder and CEO of ProviderLink, a healthcare communications technology company that was acquired this year by Compuware Corporation, where David now serves as a Vice President.

Al LauritanoAl is Director of Business Development for BD Technologies, the corporate research center of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) and a member of the company's corporate development department. He joined the firm in 2003 and directs a team of business development professionals responsible for technology development and management in the fields of drug delivery, biosensors and diagnostics and cell engineering. He is also responsible for managing BD's life science incubator, established in 1999 in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, to foster partnership with innovative companies emerging from local and regional academic centers.  Al has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for 29 years. Prior to joining BD Technologies, he held executive business development positions at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Icagen and D-Pharm Ltd. where he established collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotech companies and was responsible for all in and out licensing activities with companies and universities. He was also instrumental in introducing these biotechnology companies to partnering opportunities in Europe and Japan. Al’s career was launched at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals where he served in senior clinical, marketing and business development positions in the US, Europe and Japan as well as successfully expanding Novo Nordisk's therapeutic franchise in the US to new therapeutic areas. He has published in the field of diabetes and received an MS Pharmacology from Rutgers University.
