Driving Directions

From I-40 East or West

  • Take the exit for NC-147, North/Durham Freeway.
  • Continue North on NC-147/Durham Freeway approximately 7 miles.
  • Take Exit 12B Mangum St. / Roxboro St.
  • At bottom of exit ramp turn right onto Roxboro St.
  • Continue on Roxboro St. and bear left at the Durham Downtown Loop sign onto Morgan Street.
  • The designated conference parking deck (complimentary) is on the right just beyond the intersection of Foster St. and Morgan St. (If you get to Morris Street you’ve gone too far).
  • Park and walk across Morgan St. to the Marriott Hotel Entrance. 
  • The conference facility (Marriott at the Civic Center) is on the corner of Foster and Morgan St., with the hotel driveway (for drop-off) on Foster St.
  • If the designated conference parking deck is full, please ask parking attendant for directions to the Public Parking deck off of Chapel Hill Street.

Alternative parking is available at the Public Parking deck off of Chapel Hill Street (attendee pay).  To get to this parking deck, turn left at Foster Street (pass the Marriott) and turn left onto Chapel Hill Street.  The Public Parking deck is approximately 1 ½ blocks on the right (at the head of Riggsbee Street).

From 15-501 North Bypass

  • Proceed South on NC-147
  • Take Exit 12 Mangum St. / Roxboro St.
  • Continue on frontage road in left lane thru intersection at Mangum Street.
  • At bottom of hill turn left at traffic light onto Roxboro St.
  • Continue on Roxboro St. and bear left at the Durham Downtown Loop sign onto Morgan Street.
  • The designated conference parking deck (complimentary) is on the right just beyond the intersection of Foster St. and Morgan St. (If you get to Morris Street, you’ve gone too far).
  • Park and walk across Morgan St. to the Marriott Hotel Entrance.
